Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Tax Compliance Manager. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring compliance with all tax laws across various jurisdictions for the company and its subsidiaries. Working collaboratively within a larger team, you'll oversee income tax accounting, compliance, and audits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance Management (30%):
- Supervise all aspects of income tax compliance, including the preparation and review of corporate income tax returns.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in filing federal, state, and foreign income tax returns.
- Review partnership tax returns and manage foreign income tax filings.
- Maintain documentation and implementation of income tax processes in accordance with SOX controls.
- Contribute to special projects related to income tax matters.
- Provision Calculations (30%):
- Oversee income tax accounting processes, including ASC 740 analysis.
- Ensure timely incorporation of law changes into tax provision models.


- Tax Technical Support (20%):
- Manage federal and state income tax audits, as well as sales and use tax audits.
- Provide guidance on various tax matters, including sales and use tax, personal property tax, and more.
- Conduct research on relevant tax laws and provide recommendations to resolve tax-related issues.
- Forecasting and Planning (10%):
- Prepare forecasts of taxable income, tax expense, and cash taxes payable.
- Assist with tax planning initiatives and strategic business decisions.


- Mentoring and Development (10%):
- Lead and develop staff members within the team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required; CPA license preferred.
- Minimum of ten years of Corporate Income Tax experience, preferably in a combination of public accounting and large multinational corporations.
- Proficiency in filing GILTI, FDII, and other relevant tax forms.
- Advanced understanding of FAS 109/ASC 740 and GAAP.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple complex assignments.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and knowledgeable about U.S. tax systems.
Compensation and Benefits:
The expected total compensation for this role ranges from $111,900 to $160,000, plus an annual bonus. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
