As a Senior System Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our on-premise datacenter infrastructure with a focus on security, reliability, and cost-effectiveness while minimizing impact to user workflows. You will work closely with other IT professionals, developers, and project managers to ensure that the IT infrastructure meets the needs of the organization.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and maintain the organization's datacenter infrastructureDevelop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the security and reliability of the IT infrastructureManage and maintain our virtualization platformsManage and maintain various server operating systemsImplement and debug network infrastructure in conjunction with our network administration teamManage and maintain our storage infrastructure and SAN devicesManage and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutionsDevelop and implement automation solutions using scripting languages to maximize efficiency and minimize errorsProvide support to other IT Support Specialists with more complex issuesProvide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-usersDevelop and maintain system documentation and configuration informationQualificationsRequired SkillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Informatics, Computer Information Technology, or related field5-7 years of experience in system administration or a related fieldExpertise in virtualization platforms, including VMware and XenServerExpertise in operating systems, including Microsoft Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise LinuxStrong foundation in networking, including familiarity with enterprise switches, routers, firewalls, and gatewaysSolid understanding of storage infrastructure, including iSCSI and SAN/NAS devicesExpertise in backup and disaster recovery solutionsStrong foundation in scripting languages, including Bash, PowerShell, Perl, and PythonExpertise in unattended installersStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPossess a current or willing to obtain CompTIA Security+ certificationDesired SkillsExcellent customer service skillsExperience with system architecture and power distributionExperience with Dell storage product linesExperience with Apache web serversExperience with SplunkExperience in risk management frameworks, cybersecurity, and encryption algorithmsExperience with policy and procedure documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.Experience with CMMC and NIST publications, including NIST 800-171Additional InformationCompensation: Base salary range is $100,000-130,000 depending on qualifications. SEAKR has very rich medical, dental and vision insurance plans, along with a generous 401(k) retirement plan. In addition to base salary, employees are eligible for a year-end bonus.
