Senior Structural Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
* Leading and overseeing the design of structures, ensuring they meet project requirements, codes, and standards.
* Managing projects from conception to completion, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
* Providing technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and design teams.
* Conducting structural analysis using advanced software tools to evaluate the performance and stability of structures under various loads and conditions.
* Ensuring that designs comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
* Implementing QA/QC processes to ensure the accuracy and quality of design documents and construction deliverables.
* Providing technical support during the construction phase, including responding to contractor inquiries, reviewing shop drawings and submittals, and conducting site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
* Identifying potential risks and hazards associated with structural design and construction activities and developing mitigation strategies to minimize risks to personnel, property, and the environment.
* Building and maintaining relationships with clients by understanding their needs, communicating effectively, and delivering high-quality engineering solutions that meet or exceed their expectations.
* Staying current with advances in structural engineering technology, materials, and methodologies through ongoing learning and participation in professional development activities, such as seminars, conferences, and certifications.
