Overview: Senior Software Engineer I with Axway, Inc. (Scottsdale, AZ)
Design and develop software programs. Actively work on developing and maintaining various products under Amplify Central, a product of Axway. Work on enhancing and creating new API's that serve the data to various products across the company. Involved in all the design and architecture discussions for the products that the team is responsible for high performance back-end services and frameworks that are reliable and scalable. Design and develop a Node JS backend service that integrates with an open-source tool to perform API compliance validation to add great value to the Amplify Central product. Actively work on resolving defects and customer issues with high efficiency and accountability. Work on setting up CI/CD pipelines in Gitlab and Jenkins for integrating and deploying the code in continuous fashion. Collaborate with DevOps teams to quickly get the code deployed to all pre-production and production environments as per the need. Efficiently design and write unit and integration tests using Junit, Jest, and Mocha for all the projects that the team is responsible. Team's Security Point Of Contact (SPOC), which is an additional responsibility to make sure the products follow all necessary Security guidelines. Work with Quality Assurance Engineers to accomplish performance and load testing to improve reliability of the products. Collaborate with Product Owners and Product Managers to gather all the customer requirements for efficient delivery of the projects in a timely fashion. Lead multiple projects to completion by maintaining the code quality and deadlines. Efficiently debug various logs for the services to quickly get to the root cause of the issue and find a solution.
Position allows for partial remote work (2-3 times in the office). Reports to company office in Scottsdale, AZ.
Responsibilities: Requirements : Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related. Requires 3 years of related experience, which must include some experience in each of the following skills: Java, Spring Framework for server side development. Node JS and Express framework for server and client side development. Rest APIs and Microservices for server side development architectures. UI design and development using React JS and Typescript for client side development. Gitlab, GitHub, and Confluence for version/source control and documentation tools. Unit Testing and Integration testing using Junit, Jest, and Mocha. Deployment tools (CI/CD using GitLab, AWS, Kubernetes, and Jenkins).
