Our client is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work on their autonomous robotics product. This role is a full-time role located in Nashua, New Hampshire.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate expertise as an individual contributor with a comprehensive understanding of the software stack, particularly excelling in C++. Additionally, recommend and implement enhancements to software processes and infrastructure to support team growth.

Required skills include:

Proficiency in C++ programming
Extensive experience in Ubuntu/Linux environments
Proficiency in developing software tools (e.g., live plots, diagnostic apps, etc.)
Participation in medium-to-large software teams
Demonstrated experience as an individual contributor, managing projects from concept to architecture to implementation
Familiarity with software CI/CD processes in the realm of high-reliability software
Ability to thrive in a team environment, handling requests from multiple internal software projects and teams
Management and leadership experience in software projects and teams
Bonus: Experience in firmware level code development, including software drivers for hardware devices
Bonus: Experience in image and video processing, CUDA
Dynamic, hands-on, and action-oriented mindset
Adaptability and multidisciplinary approach

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from a reputable university with 5-7 years of experience OR Master's/PhD with 2-3 years of relevant professional experience
Comfort working collaboratively in a team environment, solving problems collectively
A strong candidate will merge academic background with engineering maturity and a willingness to tackle complex problems with speed and ownership, reaping the rewards of doing so.
Demonstrated intelligence, intellectual curiosity, and enthusiasm for the mission are valued as highly as specific educational or employment backgrounds.
Robotics/Aerospace experience not mandatory.
