A dynamic, fast-paced culture that thrives on creativity, passion and dedication to exceeding expectations!Competitive PayProfessional GrowthFull BenefitsJoining a great company cultureThe Senior Sheet Metal Worker will direct/manage, fabricate, build, and install various types of metal structures and equipment for facility maintenance and installation programs.Duties/Responsibilities:Consults blueprints, work orders, and/or schematics to safely construct/direct construction of specified structure; develops additional sketches if needed.Selects appropriate material for each job based on the desired or necessary strength.Directs and/or cuts, bends, and shapes sheet metal to required dimensions.Oversees and/or measures, cuts, and welds pieces together according to specifications, blueprints, or directions.Directs/connects pieces or secures seams by riveting, rolling, soldering, or using steel screws.Performs/leads assigned work on assembly lines such as punching holes for screws or bending gutters.Uses appropriate machinery and software applications to complete assigned jobs.Coordinates required shutdowns and startups of equipment with other departments after sheet metal installation.Develops and maintains records for projects and repairs.Mandates/maintains clean and orderly work space for self and subordinates.Performs/directs other related duties as assigned.Required Skills/Abilities:Ability to lead/complete sheet metal projects with accuracy and precision.Ability to direct safe use/safely use machinery and tools involved in sheet metal work.Ability to disseminate and follow directions.Ability to read blueprints and schematics to understand product assignment.Education and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent required.Successful completion of a Journeyman License and 8 years of sheetmetal/fabrication experience required.Master Sheetmetal Worker license is diserable but not required.Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods lifting, reaching, and working on scaffolding and overhead structures as well as small confined spaces.Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.If interested in this position, please email with a copy of your confidential resume.
