job summary:
Our West Michigan client has a contract opportunity for a Senior Scrum Master/Project Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for leading Agile team as a Scrum Master while also managing a cross functional project from initiation to closure. The ideal candidate will have a background in Agile methodologies, excellent project management skills, and the ability to seamlessly influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization. This is a hybrid role with 3 days a week onsite in Grand Rapids, MI.

salary: $55 - 56 per hour
work hours: 8am to 5pm
responsibilities:
Serve as a Scrum Master for an Agile team, facilitating Scrum events, removing impediments, and ensuring the team's adherence to Agile principles and practices.
Coach and mentor team members on Agile methodologies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to prioritize and refine the product backlog, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
Lead project planning, execution, and delivery, defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables in consultation with stakeholders.
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and allocate resources effectively to ensure successful project outcomes.
Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
Communicate project status, updates, and key milestones to stakeholders on a regular basis, ensuring transparency and alignment.
Conduct project reviews and retrospectives to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement.
Ensure project documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date, in compliance with organizational standards and requirements.
qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of experience
skills:
Scrum Master (7 years of experience is required)
SAFe Agile (3 years of experience is required)
