Responsibilities:
Support a variety of clients with their environmental compliance and permitting needs Build and maintain positive relationships with existing and new clients Collaborate closely with technical teams and other offices within Braun Intertec Mentor and train junior staff and provide technical training Manage and deliver projects on time and within budget, while balancing project team tasks Develop and review project proposals and ensure that scope, schedule and cost expectations are met Collaborate and execute business development initiatives Flexibility and willingness to conduct occasional field work Skills:
Excellent customer service and client centered focus Experience with natural resource related studies and assessments, with focus areas in wetlands and protected species is highly preferred Working knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental review processes, documents, and compliance measures Successful completion of environmental permitting for various project types and different geographies Ability to interact and communicate effectively with clients in several market sectors Ability to develop creative solutions for environmental problems Ability to read and interpret regulations and perform applicability determinations Required Experience:
BS degree in Engineering, Geology, Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science, or related field Minimum 10 years of direct environmental review and regulatory compliance experience Strong desire to build and grow a client base through diverse business development initiatives Excellent communication, team collaboration, attention to detail, and critical thinking skills Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving history and be willing to use personal vehicle on company projects (occasionally, as needed) Minnesota Wetland Delineation Certification (WPCP) preferred Emphasis in water resources, protected species, and plant communities is highly preferred Braun Intertec offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) plan, ESOP, PTO, and paid holidays.
