Join us for a career with a company that changes lives.A Day in the LifeIn this exciting role as a Sr Sales Analytics Analyst you will have responsibility for the development and maintenance of Commercial Reporting and Analytics solutions in support of our sales organizations in the US Region. This individual is expected to partner closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Commercial organizations. A successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to innovate, think creatively, and drive insights for our internal business partners.   Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.The primary function of this role is to deliver and maintain sales analytics solutions in support of our US Patient Monitoring/Respiratory Interventions business.Provides administrative support to the sales function such as preparing sales forecasts, building analytical dashboards, coordinating meetings, etc.Instructs sales, marketing managers, field area managers, and support staff in accessing sales and marketing information.Develops, inspects, mines, transforms, and models data to raise productivity, improve decision making, and gain competitive advantage.Manages all aspects of end-to-end data processing, utilizing customized report building functions of systems, and acting as a liaison with information technology groups in identifying and resolving problems.Conducts statistical analysis and uses data to develop accurate and reliable descriptive and predictive analytics.Maintains analytical systems, verifies the accuracy of the data, and acts as a liaison to the business.Works with data visualization tools to drive valuable business insights.Engages with internal business partners such as product marketing, contract administration, pricing and offer development, sales enablement, and marketing operations.*This role may be in Boulder, CO or remote.This position is an exciting and new opportunity to work with Medtronic's Patient Monitoring, Respiratory Interventions and/or Medtronic Care Management Services. Currently a part of Medtronic, these businesses  are being transitioned either into a new stand-alone company (currently referred to as NewCo) or will be merged into the business of another company. While you will start your employment with Medtronic, upon establishment of NewCo or upon the transition of the business unit to another company, in approximately 12-15 months your employment will transfer to one of these entities and you will no longer be employed by Medtronic.The business will have the same singular focus, financial commitment, deep domain expertise, and global footprint needed to accelerate the development and commercialization of affordable and scalable healthcare technologies.Must Have: Minimum RequirementsBachelors degree requiredMinimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experienceNice to HaveAdvanced degree in Business, Data Analytics, or similar area of focus.Demonstrated proficiency in MS suite of tools, including Excel.Experience using data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BIFamiliarity with any of the following applications:Business Objects, Cognos or other sales reporting tools.Alteryx, or similar data prep and advanced analytics platforms.SQL, R, or related database languages.Salesforce.com or related CRM tools.Ability to successfully work on a project or work team.Ability to navigate a complex matrix environment and manage competing prioritiesAbout MedtronicTogether, we can change healthcare worldwide.
