Job summary
Consor is currently looking for Senior Roadway Design Engineer for our Columbia, SC office.This position supports all aspects of roadway design projects; prepares roadway schematics and models; performs roadway analysis and engineering calculations; develops plans, specifications, and estimates; prepares technical engineering reports; performs construction management for roadway projects.Requires Bachelor's Degree and PE. 7 plus years of experience designing roadways and highways.

Responsibilities
• Support all aspects of roadway design projects• Prepare roadway schematics and models• Perform roadway analysis and engineering calculations• Develop plans, specifications, and estimates• Prepare technical engineering reports• Perform construction management for roadway projects
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree and PE• 7 plus years of experience designing roadways and highways• Experience preparing plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E)• Experience preparing technical reports, specifications, and cost estimates• Familiarity with South Carolina DOT or other DOT's• Good technical writing and communication skills• Proficiency with the following software suites: MicroStation, Open Roads, and/or GEOPAK• Experience using Open Roads
