Responsibilities Lab Description:  Dr. Brownfield manages the  Lung Development and Regeneration Lab , which studies lung development, repair, and regeneration with the goal of improving treatment of pulmonary disease. Using single-cell transcriptomics, genetically engineered mouse models and patient-derived organotypic culture, the lab maps the lung's cellular and molecular processes of construction and repair at single-cell resolution to identify high value therapeutic targets. The lab's team is vibrant, multidisciplinary, and comprised of graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and undergraduate researchers. 
We are excited to offer a position in this fast paced team to a Senior Research Technologist that has sufficient experience in either cell culture or mouse model research. Technicians with substantial experience with more advanced cell culture (iPSCs, primary cell, organotypic, etc.) or sample processing (spatialomics, vibratome, confocal microscopy, etc) are especially encouraged to apply. 
Job Description: Independently sets up and performs experiments and procedures in support of lab goals and grant commitments (e.g. assays, cell/tissue culture, animal studies, etc.). Contributes to the planning, design and modification of studies and experiments in the researchlab setting. Monitorsresults, reports unusual outcomes, and suggests modifications. Collects, enters, summarizes, and analyzes data. May oversee and assist with the training of residents, fellows, and temporary lab personnel in lab techniques. Works with minimal supervision and performs assignments independently as discussed and approved by Principal Investigator.

Qualifications Requires bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or other relevant science with 4 years of research laboratory experience. Master's degree in biology, chemistry, or other relevant science preferred.

Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.; $64,500 -96,824 annually. Benefits Eligible
