DexCare is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Release Engineer (DevOps) to work in a team setting to ensure the release of a stable and performant DexCare platform for our customers.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to be a thought leader and change agent to continually improve and reduce time to deploy our products to customer environments. You will have the freedom to ideate and develop incremental actions to improve the release and deployment cycle. You will be positioned to coordinate, collaborate, and communicate between DexCare Infrastructure, Application Engineering, QA, and Implementation teams to prepare, plan for, and execute regular deployments of the DexCare platform to our customers.

Role is based out of our Seattle HQ (Eastlake area) 2 days/week.

What You'll Do
Develop tools and utilities to be used during the software release planning and deployment process to optimize and scale to many times current customer base (i.e., CI/CD Pipeline)
Research and suggest improvements to existing software integration and distribution utilities and tools
Define requirements for automation to reduce time of deployment and resource constraints
Identify and reduce technical debt that inhibits progress or adds risk to software deployments
Be an active participant in the implementation of process and automation improvements, taking on many tasks yourself
Prepare implementation plans and product documentation and provide training to users
Participate in and potentially lead deployments of DexCare software to customers
What You'll Bring 5+ years in a Release/Deployment/DevOps focused Engineering role -- holding multiple roles within different engineering organizations will be seen as an advantage
5+ years with CI/CD and DevOps Release processes and observability tools (Github Actions and Workflows, Argo, Argo-CD, Helm, and DataDog, Lens/k9s/kubectl)
3+ years with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Terraform experience
3+ years in distributed container-based infrastructure with a focus on Kubernetes infrastructure
3+ years with scaling CI/CD pipeline and process (technology, process, procedure, people, etc.)
5+ years with a scripting language such as TypeScript or Python
Solid day-to-day Agile / Scrum experience using Jira
Proven ability to develop and document software release specifications and test cases, and deliver best in class implementations
Strong knowledge of database design, software design, and software testing methodologies
Effective communication skills and the ability to contribute to a team-oriented environment
Preferred Experience Amazon AWS DevOps Engineer Professional Certification
Experience with Amazon AWS Lambda and Fargate services
HITRUST, HIPAA or other regulatory and compliance knowledge and experience
3+ years of experience with Kubernetes orchestrated environments, with an emphasis on Amazon EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service)
3+ years of experience with AWS VPC networking, Secrets Manager, WAF, EC2, and S3services

$115,000 - $150,000 a year

The salary range for this role is from $115,000-150,000 + Equity.

Please note the national salary range listed in the job posting reflects the new hire salary range across levels and U.S. locations that would be applicable to the position. Final salary will be commensurate with the candidate's final level and final location. Also, this range represents base salary only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits if applicable.
