Location: New Orleans, LA Summary
The Senior Registered Dietician facilitates theimplementation and management of dietary lifestyle interventions for clinical trials. This position provides education as well as plans,coordinates, and implements nutrition recommendations for study participants. This position collaborates with agencies, hospital and medicalstaff, and program participants in support of study goals. The Senior Registered Dietician assists with study data collection. This positionfacilitates group education for participants and their families. This position manages intervention delivery schedules. The SeniorRegistered Dietician serves as a resource and leader for other dieticians and study personnel. Specific responsibilities include developmentof dietary intervention programs and educational materials, conducting group and individual dietary assessment and counseling sessions, andassisting with other activities related to the implementation and conduct of the clinical trials.

Licensed to practicedietetics by the LA State Board of Examiners of Dieticians 5 years of clinical experience. Has completed 1200 hours ofsupervised practice through an ACEND accredited internship. Pass the national CDR exam and completes professionalcontinuing education for registration maintenance. 5 years of clinical experience. Has completed1200 hours of supervised practice through an ACEND accredited internship. Pass the national CDR exam and completesprofessional continuing education for registration maintenance. Has completed 1200 hours of supervised practice through anACEND accredited internship. Pass the national CDR exam and completes professional continuing education for registrationmaintenance. Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or other health sciencerelated field Experience in the academic setting. Experience teaching small groups.
