Job Description
The Senior Project Manager & Planner will provide
leadership, project management, administrative coordination and facilitation for all aspects of the University's participation in the
JED
Campus program for undergraduate and graduate students, designed to assess and enhance campus-wide student mental
health and suicide prevention efforts. Working in close collaboration with the
JED
Campus co-leads, the Sr.
Project Manager & Planner will support the institutional
JED
oversight teams, facilitate communication with the
JED
Campus Assessment process, and assist in coordinating all other aspects of broad campus involvement in this
campus-wide initiative. The Sr. Project Manager & Planner will promote and facilitate effective communication and collaboration across all
efforts of the department, university, and community partners.
This position will also assist with assessment and
analysis of well-being research and university efforts across multiple departments. This is a term position through June 30, 2025. Potential
for extension dependent on funding.
Project management : Provides leadership and administrative support to the
JED
Campus initiative including but not limited to developing and implementing
JED
Campus
project timelines, supporting and facilitating the work of the campus
JED
Oversight Teams of senior leaders,
faculty, students and staff, and operationalizing detailed plans for
JED
surveys, campus engagement efforts, and
outcomes implementation.
Campus Engagement : Manages development and production of relevant informational materials
for the
JED
Campus initiatives and other campus constituencies, collaborates with campus departments to provide
logistical support for all aspects of related meetings and campus outreach efforts. Engages with students, faculty and staff to promote and
deliver project programs and initiatives. Develops and maintains working relationships, and positively influences and motivates staff.
Facilitates inclusive processes of developing and implementing change that affects multiple entities.
Data &
Assessment : Supports and leads efforts to create a culture in which data and information are both valued and utilized for reporting
and decision-making. Analyzes collected data, reviews research and creates summary reports. Develops and implements effective communication
strategies to share results and facilitate discussion for the improvement of university efforts. Creates a culture of feedback to improve
engagement, operations and services. Commits to intentional and on-going professional development of all staff.
Resource
Management & Stewardship : Responsibly manages university resources including but not limited to finances, people, and
equipment/inventory. Continuously evaluates operational efficiency, maximizes the impact of available resources, and seeks opportunities to
enhance and ensure the financial strength of the university. Ensures that budgets comply with University and Department guidelines, policy
and procedures. Consistently monitors all revenue and expense budgets pertaining to area.
Student Affairs:
Actively
contributes as a staff member of the Division of Student Affairs in supporting the well-being of the university community. Provides
leadership, promotes collaboration, and facilitates effective communication across all department, divisional, university and community
partners. Maintains current knowledge of the University, its environment, purpose, and affairs to be prepared to respond to appropriate
issues. Actively participates in professional development opportunities and maintains knowledge of current trends and best practices within
area of responsibility. Advocates and promotes inclusivity through role and responsibilities in support of department, division, and
university initiatives. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's
degree
1-2 Years work related experience
Preferred Qualifications
Master's
Degree
Experience in project management, health & well-being related fields, and or assessment and analysis
preferred

Pay Rate:
Salary is commensurate
with education and experience within pay grade CA&P 15, while also considering internal equity. Please find the full pay structure at the
