Job DescriptionABOUT THE ROLEWe are looking for a smart, self-driven and hands-on senior project manager who will lead the planning, execution, monitoring and reporting of projects within our bitcoin mining division. An ideal candidate won't shy away from complexity and technicalities and loves a fast-paced environment. The projects are diverse and cover internal projects, construction projects, R&D projects, new hardware deployments, software implementations and setting up internal standardised processes and procedures for new projects. You'll work closely with the managing director of the division as well as cross-functional on projects with other team members. The role will be hands-on, instead of leading teams of project managers, but with a lot of freedom to make your own mark and apply your professionalism to accelerate our business effectiveness.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESLeading a broad range of cross-functional projects across the mining divisionFormulate and update project plans, schedules and budgetsReview and monitor progress against project plans to ensure outputs are delivered to time and quality specificationsManage risks, issues and resources to ensure milestone dates are achieved and project risks are minimizedCreate and maintain comprehensive project documentationManage internal (senior) stakeholders and coordinate resources for flawless executionManage, establish and maintain external relationships with suppliers, contractors and other stakeholdersEvaluate internal processes, procedures & documentation and structure and implement new internal standardized processes for new projectsEXPERIENCE7+ years of experience as a project manager or in a similar position, responsible for defining scope, timelines, budgets and effective deliveryProven ability to work hands-on, providing structure in a fast-paced problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellenceConstruction projects in the datacenter or crypto mining space are a big plusREQUIREMENTSBachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related fieldsExperience with project management software such as Jira (planning) and Confluence (documentation) as well as the Office 365 suite (communication & documentation)Strong communication skills whilst working cross-functional with various teamsStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to manage complex projects under tight deadlinesPMP Certification is considered a plusHome location: Eastern time zone states are strongly preferredWork environment: Fully remoteTravel: 20%, some site visits required (depending on project)WHAT WE OFFERWith us, you will work towards the future of HPC: from new, sustainable building methods for data centers to cooling concepts to software solutions for accelerated compute.Your approaches count: In official exchange formats or spontaneously at the coffee machine.
