Senior Project Manager, Federal Practice
What We Are Looking For:
Lynch Consultants is seeking a Senior Project Manager to provide business management support services to our Coast Guard customer. If you excel at coming up to speed on new programs, developing implementation plans, building schedules, generating and managing action items, maintaining records, and presenting project status, then this job is for you. This position is onsite in the Norfolk area, putting you squarely at the heart of the nation's Coast Guard activities.
Requirements:
· U.S. Citizenship
· BA/BS Degree
· Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
· ITIL Expert Certification
· 10 years of related work experience
Skills:
· Analyze program requirements and organizational capabilities and parameters.
· Generate proposed project plan.
· Develop master schedule baseline and decompose into sub-project schedules. Be prepared to iterate as required.
· Help direct actions and institute controls to maintain project schedule.
· Communicate project status.
· Maintain project repository using project management software.
· Attend meetings, lead meetings, take notes, and identify action items.
· Possess in-depth knowledge of, and experience with, IT Project Management processes including, but not limited to, industry standard project management principles and practices such as those defined by the Project Management Institute (PMI) in the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and the ITIL certification program.
Preferred:
· United States Coast Guard experience and knowledge.
