Uses AutoCAD to perform design tasks and produce drawings. Draws on internal/external mechanical and civil designer resources as required, who produce the majority of drawingsInspect. Provides field supervision/inspection services on construction projects. Performs post-project review to ensure key objectives, cost/performance improvements, and rate of return are achievedPrepare Bid Packages. Prepares bid packages for construction and manages construction contractsProvide Updates. Provide project updates on a regular frequency to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progressRepresent the Company. Represents the company to industry associations, government officials, and public agenciesAdditional Responsibilities. Other duties as assignedTravel. Varies based on projects up to 20%Based in Florida: Jacksonville, Orlando, Miami, or Ft. MyersSkills You'll Need:Education.BS degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering. Mining Engineering degrees considered with substantial civil/mechanical/project experienceLicense. A PE license is preferredExperience. 5 years of project management and related experience with experience in a heavy industrial or mining environment.Strong familiarity with project management and engineering software tools, methodologies, and best practices.Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle. Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline. Must have competent knowledge of concrete and steel design, building codes, and construction practices.Experience with project scoping and estimating is required.Experience in the mining industry and or other similar material handling fields is desired.Experience with mine processing equipment, pumping equipment, and fundamental electrical knowledge is desired.Experience with managing projects of varying scale and complexity is desired.Other essential skills include competent AutoCad ability and being fully functional with the Microsoft Office suite.Leadership Skills.
