AtkinsRéalis has the depth and breadth of expertise to respond to the most technically challenging and time-critical infrastructure projects and the urgent transition to a low-carbon economy.About You:In thisSeniorProgram Managerrole, you will provide support for strategy, marketing and leadership in pursing and executing DOE Grant contracts. You will be an integral team member of AtkinsRéalis support of Federal projects.How your experience will contribute to the team:Marketing and Client ManagementDevelop, implements, and monitors annual and strategic marketing plans for targeted projects; participates in the development of Strategic Plan.Actively pursue, investigate, and evaluate new or expanded opportunities for associated projects and services within the firm by maintaining contacts with current and prospective client decision makers; identify and work towards the resolution of client relations problems.Review proposals teams: review and recommend project marketing budgetsStrengthen client relations with existing clients and building new relationships with others. Serve as point of contact to the client and acts as a liaison between management and clients on advanced program related issuesCreate and deliver presentations on behalf and in support of the client's program. Project production and managementAssist project staff in developing work plans; review and approve schedules, budgets, project milestone dates, and work products.Oversee financial performance of projects; assist project staff in identifying potential problems to ensure remedial actions taken to avoid financial losses and client dissatisfaction.Contracts and financialConduct contract negotiations with clients and sub-consultants.Recommend operational budgets for approval by senior management. Reviews and makes decision on proposed project budgets.Monitor monthly performance against budget to ensure project profitability.Manage assignments of large complex projects comprised of highly sophisticated and specialized technical components, generating annual net revenue between $5 million to $20 million annually.Project production and managementAssists project staff in developing work plans; reviews and approves schedules, budgets, project milestone dates, and work products.Oversees financial performance of projects; assists project staff in identifying potential problems to ensure remedial actions are promptly taken to avoid financial losses and client dissatisfaction.Internal staff administrationAssists management team in identifying staffing needs and the hiring/compensation process based on future workload and manpower projections for project staffing.Will currently manage indirect reports from the Technical Professional Organization selected for staffing projects and support mentoring and evaluation of these staff.Responsible for direct management of staff as the local team is further built and expandsRole requirements:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Planning, Finance, Disaster Management, Economics, or related field15 + years' experience with DOE or similar federal agency grant programs and administrationRelevant experience in marketing and strategic planningExperience managing large program contracts, leading large diverse teams.Briefing Executive Leadership on business plans and growth strategiesExperience with direct client management and experience effectively delivering on project goalsExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong organizational skillsRequires - Program Management Professional (PMP) or ability to acquire certification within six monthsProficient computer skills (including MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint; Adobe Acrobat Professional).Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a changing work environment.Ability to work independently and/or on a team.Comfortable interacting with Clients and Client StakeholdersProficient computer skills (including MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint; Adobe Acrobat Professional)What we offer at AtkinsRéalis:AtkinsRéalis realizes that health, mental and financial wellbeing, are all equally needed to achieve balance in life.
