Position Description
The senior program administrative assistant provides administrative support to the teacher education and student development administration programs in the College of Education. This position supports students, faculty, and the program director of the MIT, EDLS, and SDAD programs. The position reports directly to the associate dean in the College of Education. The ability to work in a hybrid (on-campus and remotely) is possible.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent (GED) plus two or more years of progressively responsible administrative office support experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job. Knowledge of procedures such as purchasing, budgeting and record keeping, the ability to prepare, edit and produce grammatically correct reports and correspondence and the ability to orally communicate effectively with others on the telephone and in person. Must also possess excellent customer service skills, the ability to organize and prioritize and to perform multiple tasks concurrently. Basic numerical skills are required. The candidate must be able to successfully complete a computer skills assessment administered by Human Resources. Software included in the assessment: MS Access, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Windows, MS Outlook, and Internet Explorer. Application Instructions

Compensation at a Glance: Salary Range: $42,900 - $45,000 Seattle University has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, and not based on a candidate's gender or any other protected status.
