In this role, you will provide product leadership within R&E for large Poise programs within our Adult and Feminine Care (AFC) portfolio. This role will work in conjunction with the R&E AFC Product Team Members, Retail Brand Marketing and Sales Teams, Engineering and Technology Teams, Insights and Analytics, Marketing S&I, Project Teams and the AFC cross-functional organization.
In this role, you will:
Work with the R&E project lead and Marketing team as well as Personal Care R&E, develop learning plans and execute them, as well as mentor other more junior scientists on the team
Lead the interaction with the Marketing team to ensure product design is meeting our concept and is on strategy.
Champion the product design and learning plan for Poise innovation programs
Champion claims substantiation and BV development to bring the innovation to life
Document key learnings and significant research findings in a searchable, retrievable format and coach junior team members in their documentation practices
Develop and leverage deep product expertise and leverage knowledge cross-functionally to field questions for LCM, DtV, competitive claims, etc.
Make connections between projects and product learnings to solve complex complaint and manufacturing issues
Ensure all work complies with corporate safety, regulatory, product safety and sustainability requirements 
Interface effectively with the other work stream teams to ensure business success.
Mentor junior scientists.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
Bachelors or advanced degree in related major scientific or engineering discipline. May also include other relevant disciplines (i.e., Psychology, Nursing, and Sociology)
At least 10 or more years of experience in a variety of technical or operational assignments
Experience in product development and/or technology development
Experience in executing consumer and/or technical/scientific studies
Demonstrated strengths in scientific experimentation methods, analysis and planning/organizing, reading and comprehension of technical literature
A demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete projects within required timeframes
Preferred Experience leading both consumer and technical research studies
Experience leading product design changes
Work experience across a range of Research & Engineering disciplines
Strong understanding of AFC products, brands, business, and technologies.
Strong mentoring skills
