ABOUT THE JOB
We are seeking a Senior Manager of Solution Marketing to join our fast-growing company and marketing team. Reporting to the Director of Solution Marketing, this role will be responsible for creating and delivering messaging, positioning, Go-To-Market product launch strategy, industry & customer research/ briefings, and field enablement for the Financial Services Industry and other secondary initiatives. This is a major growth area for OneStream with many new initiatives planned in 2024 alone. The CPM market is very competitive, and this leader will be required to develop the strategy to further differentiate OneStream in the market and ensure our product development excels.
The Senior Manager will collaborate at a senior level with product management, competitive intelligence, marketing, pre-sales, customer success, sales and Go-To-Market teams to create and support market awareness and enablement for existing and new solutions, including, but not limited to, targeting the Office of the CFO and finance leaders in the Financial Services Industry.
Senior Manager will have accountability for the creation and communication of impactful storylines highlighting OneStream's platform advantage for the Financial Services domain, plus own, manage and communicate new feature/functionality launches, product adoption and customer success - providing product/ industry input, collateral, education and GTM enablement tools required to help OneStream attract new customers, advance customer adoption, and achieve a significant increase in sales goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary Responsibilities:
Own global solution marketing for Financial Services and collaborate on sales enablement plans to support revenue objectives of growing existing ACV and acquiring new customers
Develop new and differentiated messaging and positioning, build and deliver sales tools across the sales cycle, including presentations, white papers, data sheets, and other tools, to enable Go-To-Market teams to effectively communicate the value of OneStream's platform
Manage launches across virtual teams by building value messaging in collaboration with product management, develop collateral and sales tools, and work closely with sales and marketing teams to craft marketing plans. Develop, drive and support partner enablement in collaboration with partner marketing
Partner with financial services field marketing and campaign teams to create and support commercial banking, government lenders, insurance, wealth management and private equity-specific journeys that drive engagement at each B2B buyer's journey stage, including email programs, webinars and field events. Provide speaking support as needed
Bring deep knowledge and expertise of complex buying/selling processes involving multiple decision-makers for software and solution purchases and translate that to successful GTM strategies
Instigate effective buyer persona and market research activities, leveraging primary and secondary research to identify potential market opportunities
Partner with key industry experts to analyze market trends and competitive strategies
Collaborate with competitive intelligence to create actionable intelligence for the OneStream Go-To-Market teams, product management, marketing, and executive teams to elevate our positioning and increase our win rate against the competition
Evangelize and elevate the messaging around our solutions from high-level speaking engagements at field marketing events, conferences, and tradeshows to analysts and customers
Develop compelling messaging, content & presentations, and other sales tools for the global sales team
Drive effective customer interviews to achieve more value-based case studies and video content that demonstrate the value of OneStream to prospects and customers
Manage complex and ambiguous communications across key business stakeholders within product management, presales domain, customer adoption marketing to advance Customer Advisory Board (CAB) and influence executive and domain centric user groups

QUALITIES OF A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
Formal Education and Certification
Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
Advanced degree/MBA is a plus

Knowledge and Experience
5+ years of relevant solution marketing experience in corporate performance management (CPM), Sales, Pre-Sales or Consulting with a solid understanding of finance processes and the target personas
5+ years of financial services marketing experience is highly desirable
5+ years of experience & excellent knowledge of competitive applications, including one or more SAP EPM Applications, including BPC, BFC, Group Reporting, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Oracle EPM including Hyperion Planning, Planning cloud & Essbase, Anaplan or Pigment
5+ years of experience in the full lifecycle of product launches to market, including interacting with product development, planning, defining messaging & content, campaign management, PR and influencing analysts
Excellent communication skills, including writing, content development and presentation
Strong understanding and track record of enabling the entire sales cycle: sales enablement, selling to customers/partners, and conversations with both business executives and technical decision-makers
Experience in high-growth B2B Cloud businesses
Experience managing external resources and collaborating with other functions in the company
