As a Senior Principal Signal and Sensor Modeling Engineer , you will work on a close-knit team to create advanced, physics-based modeling solutions in the DoD Space. You will develop key technologies in the EO/IR domain to help engineers grasp the most complex aspects of energy transport, enabling the design and test of tomorrow's artificial intelligence algorithms and hardware solutions. You will deploy cutting-edge technologies, leveraging your software development skills and collaborating with your Signal and Sensor Modeling peers

This is an Onsite role in Tucson, ArizonaResponsibilities to Anticipate: + You will champion novel solutions for advanced modeling techniques.
+ You will develop new C++ models in an extensible and maintainable fashion.
+ You will deploy EO or RF phenomenology and advanced physics concepts in a software implementation.
+ You will enable our customer's success through adoption and utilization of modeling solutions.
+ You will work efficiently inside an established software product, across programming languages, and build environments.
+ You will research and develop novel EO or RF modeling solutions.
+ You will coordinate with multiple development teams to prioritize and solve complex software and physics problems.
+ You will mentor and share EO or RF expertise with your team.
Basic Qualifications : + Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM degree and ten (10) years or more of documented work and/or academic experience in the following areas:
+ Experience programming in C++, C, or other high order language
+ Experience applying object-oriented software design
+ Experience using MATLAB or Python for evaluation of data sets
+ Experience with UNIX /Linux or Apple OS or Windows DOS command line
+ Experience in electro-optics or in radar processing
+ Experience with Imaging EO/IR/RF systems, energy transport, or radar physics, signal processing or discrimination algorithms
+ The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Preferred Qualifications : + Advanced Degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or related STEM degree
+ Experience with OpenGL, CUDA , or other GPU accelerated languages/architectures
+ Experience with Real-time Programming
+ Experience with AI/ML and training techniques
+ Experience with other Scene Generation / Sensor Modeling technologies
+ Experience with software change management tools and processes
+ Experience using and augmenting Build Systems (Make/CMake)
+ Experience working with large production software environment
+ Experience with and ability to interface with adjacent engineering disciplines (Signal Processing, Systems Engineering, Hardware Engineering)
+ Electronic warfare modeling
+ Course work or experience in signal & image processing, digital communications, or estimation theory
+ Experience developing signal processing algorithms for missile applications
+ Current Department of Defense Clearance

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD – 246,000 USD . The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
