As a Senior/Principal Machine Learning Engineer, you will work on challenging problems leveraging Generative AI for 3D content creation. You will help us build AI-driven creation tools for 3D assets on Roblox such as avatars, objects, scenes and fully interactive environments. We are looking for engineers to lead the vision of generative AI at Roblox while ensuring a high level of civility of content and interactions on the platform.
You Will:
Develop and implement state-of-the-art ML models.
Mentor and guide junior team members and provide technical leadership.
Stay up-to-date with the latest research in ML and related fields, and apply this knowledge to improve the model performance.
Have the opportunity to publish your innovations in top-tier vision/graphics conferences.
You Have:
5+ years experience in developing machine learning models, preferably in image, video, or 3D representations or equivalent PhD experience.
Strong programming skills in Python and experience with deep learning frameworks such as Pytorch or TensorFlow.
Strong understanding of state-of-the-art deep learning network architectures and primitives.
Excellent cross-functional skills, partnering with organization leaders, driving to a conclusion.
Technical depth in generative AI for 3D modeling, such as large-scale image/text-to-3D models and 3D implicit representations (i.e. gaussian splats, neural radiance fields etc.)
Publications in top-tier computer graphics/vision conferences is a plus.
For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.
Annual Salary Range
$267,720 — $331,640 USD
Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
