Pure Storage is looking for an operationally strong, mature and highly motivatedPartner Sales Manager, to lead a team of focused Partner Account Managers in our North Sales Region (Nordics, Benelux & Switzerland). Responsibilities include recruiting direct (PAM) reporting roles, accurate forecasting, PAM development, territory planning, and extensive channel partner relationship development.What You Will Be DoingCreate Strategies and lead team efforts to maximize sell-through of Pure products within Channel.Lead and inspire a team of Inside/PartnerAccountManagers, and ensure that the Pure Culture and Values are embedded into your teamClosely manage and enable the team's performance related to KPIs including pipeline growth, partner team alignment, forecast accuracy, partner recruitment Recruit, develop and maintain strong relationships with channel partner principals, AEs and leadership teams.Drive sales call activity and lead by example. Ensure that each member of the team attains or over-achieves quota.Weekly review of activities, pipeline and if pipeline insufficient to deliver plan.Strong analytical and problem solving skills required.Performance management of the team.Hire additional PAM as the business demands.Aggressively drive partners to maximize sales and total partnership potential through sales best practices, training and support. Continually learning about new products and improving selling skills. Communicate masterfully with partners on new product offerings.Work with marketing to drive programs and events to extend the relationships to new prospects.Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues and products. Attend and participate in sales meetings, product seminars, and trade shows. Conduct contract negotiations & define and execute partner sales plansField travel expected.What you bring to the team:Demonstrated Management experiencedeveloping Partner and Distributor ChannelsTechnology Sales Leadership experience within ChannelPassionate and persuasive. Excellent verbal communication skills.10+ years successful field sales experience in storage or core Information Technology infrastructure in highly competitive environment. Experience selling to IT departments and IT management is required.Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiencyExcellent time management and communication skillsThe desire to drive change and evangelize new technologiesPassion for post-sales customer successKnowledge of the storage industry specifically: Enterprise Storage architecturesCompetitive attitude and strong work ethic with the ability to enthusiastically represent the companyBA/BS required.Must be willing and able to work in an open office, team environment.
