Responsibilities
• Buying, selling, and processing aluminum scrap, by-products, and finished goods• Business development with active and prospective customers• Developing consultative relationships with customers• Regular visits to RSI/Scrap consumers and processors• Understanding pricing analysis and making recommendations• Managing scrap for conversion programs• Participating in MEC trading relationships• Fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment• Visiting suppliers for quality assurance• Resolving commercial disputes• Assuming a leadership role if needed
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in the aluminum remelt RSI industry• Strong knowledge of the scrap aluminum market• Negotiating, analytical, and problem-solving skills• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills• Proficiency in trading software and risk management• Experience in procurement, trading, or related field in non-ferrous metals industry• Commitment to ethical business practices and compliance• Extensive professional network in the industry• Collaborative team player with attention to detail• Proficiency in Microsoft Office• Proactive in business development and industry engagement• Willingness to travel• Relocation package may be available
