Senior Network Engineer

Senior Network Engineer Summary Conexess Group is aiding a Fortune 500 client in their search for a Senior Network Engineer. This is a contract to hire opportunity and this person will be asked to work onsite at an office in either Phoenix or Pittsburgh. Candidates that are interested in this position must be eligible to work on W2 and ideally possess an active CCNP or CCIE certification.
Job Requirements 7+ years of experience supporting LAN/WAN environments 7+ years experience working with Cisco in multiple facets Active certifications CCNP or CCIE Experience with Data Center Networking, Routing, Switching, SDWAN (Cisco ASRs, NCS1k, NCS2k, NCS5k, 8000 series routers, and Arista) Experience with optical communication systems including optics, DWDM, and other components Experience with routing protocols BGP, OSPF, EIGRP Familiarity with Firewall controls and load-balancing Responsibilities: This position will serve as the Cisco technical lead Responsible for timely interactions with the customer, Cisco CX, TAC, and account team. Lead troubleshooting efforts and help identify areas of opportunity for network performance and functionality improvement Escalate and work with Cisco TAC on behalf of the customer Assist internal employees on Cisco and account team on identifying areas of opportunity for a closer and better partnership with customer Strong customer focused approach and excellent communication skills Please provide me with a high-level number by the end of next week.
