Responsibilities
• Manage and oversee a team of technicians• Ensure proper start-up and troubleshooting of mechanical and plumbing systems• Meet or exceed commissioning expectations at start-up, PFT, PVT, and closeout• Implement required safety practices• Ensure compliance with RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values• Possibly relocate to Jacksonville, NC• Possibly travel approximately 20% outside of Jacksonville, NC area• Coordinate with field operations team members• Manage projects in the Mid-Atlantic Region• Specialize in fast-track projects in new commercial construction
Requirements
• Minimum high school diploma or GED (HVAC Trade school certificate preferred)• Minimum two years' experience in management/leadership overseeing a team of technicians• Ten or more years of field or trade work experience in HVAC industry• Experience in maintenance and service required• Government, military, or large commercial construction experience preferred• Valid factory start-up certifications preferred• EPA-608 Certification (Refrigerant Recovery) preferred• CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30-hour Certifications required• Possibility of travel approximately 20% of the time• Must provide evidence of identity and U.S. work authorization• Must pass drug screening and commercial criminal background check
