Amazon's Global Marketing Organization is looking for a seasoned marketer to join our Social Marketing team to help build our growing social media advertising programs. The Social Marketing team is focused on leveraging all viable social media advertising platforms to grow Amazon businesses. The team is looking for a top notch marketer who can create a set of successful channel strategies, execute well-structured tests, roll out successful campaigns, and optimize performance over time against a clear set of performance goals.
As a Senior Marketing Manager you will be focused on building a social media strategy, running experiments, and scaling up successful Influencer Marketing strategies in the EU. The primary objectives are to generate engagement of new and innovative ad formats and directly generating revenue.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience in digital marketing, A/B testing, and excel in looking at data and making recommendations. Furthermore, you will be highly innovative and comfortable driving new programs from conception through execution in an ambiguous and fast paced environment.
Key job responsibilities
- Create the marketing strategy for Influencer-first social media advertising programs in the EU.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering to develop new automated programs from end to end.
- Define experiment learning agendas and optimize campaign set ups to drive meaningful insights.
- Define the metrics and processes needed to standardize the management of advertising campaigns.
- Work directly with social networks to launch new product betas and explore marketing potential.
- Design and carry out well-structured experiments (including tracking, measuring, and reporting).
- Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders and teams to iterate on objectives and opportunities.
