Careers that Change LivesThe Senior Market Development Manager is a key member of the US Acute Care and Monitoring Marketing team and will lead and execute the downstream marketing strategy for our VA and military hospital segments.  In this role, the Marketing Development Manager leads the go-to-market strategy for these segments and executes on the launches of patient monitoring and home telehealth solutions.  They are responsible for market/product expertise, launch planning, cross-functional representation, and evolving market dynamics.This business is based in Boulder, CO and this role is open to remote within the United States for well qualified candidates.A Day in the LifeCore MarketingLead and develop our VA, military and government marketing strategy to drive incremental growthDetermine the evolution of product and brand positioning as needed, managing the planning process with consequent rollout to stakeholdersServe as Subject Matter Expert on product line, competitive landscape, marketplace trends, customer needs, and technology trendsNew Product LaunchesDevelop, implement, and execute marketing strategies to launch new products and technologiesTrack, assess and refine launch goals and financial targetsDrive sales enablement and confidence through clear, creative, and convincing marketing launch tools and trainingsTrack and socialize launch performance and determine shifts in strategy to optimize for future launchesProduct ManagementAct as regional lead to inform portfolio management including direction on prioritization of product mix, defining promotional objectives, and customer focus to support achievement of quarterly and annual goalsManage forecast of assigned portfolio, collaborating and coordinating between cross-functional teamsRegularly analyze and report to senior leadership on portfolio performance Travel approximately 10%.Other responsibilities as assignedMust Have: Minimum RequirementsBachelors degree requiredMinimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experienceNice to HaveExperience in medical device or related field in Product Management in a fast-paced environmentAbility to build rapport and credibility with customers, sales team, and internal partnersSelf-motivation and autonomy, taking ownership of the work without prompting to drive productivity and results with limited oversight from managerStrong competency and comfort with data manipulation in Microsoft ExcelStrong presentation and public speaking skillsAbout MedtronicTogether, we can change healthcare worldwide.
