Stryker is hiring a Senior Manager, Quality Assurance, NPI (Remote) for our Global Quality Operations NPI team to partner with our Advanced Operations & R&D leadership teams to ensure the formulation and implementation of strategic initiatives drive the overarching strategic plan and future direction of the organization.

What you will do: Oversee a diverse team focused on developing technical competencies and platform technologies to meet divisional needs and quality assurance (QA) requirements.
Contribute to the leadership and development of the Global QA and AO function to enhance product innovation and quality system efficiency.
Build strong relationships with various departments, identify opportunities for efficiencies aligned with the NPI & GQRAC strategy, and collaborate closely with partners for new product launches and business growth as key responsibilities.
Engage in industry forums to stay updated on best practices and trends, recognize and promote opportunities for continuous improvement, and ensure quality standards and budgets are established for NPI projects are also part of the role.
Foster a collaborative culture within the global QA & AO teams, provide direction in challenging situations, partner with HR for talent development, and ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, and safety standards are crucial aspects.
Manage expenses and budgets is part of the role's responsibilities.
What you will need A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science is required, with a preference for candidates holding a Master's degree.
Minimum of 10+ years' experience in Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Engineering, or Research and Development, ideally with over 3 years of experience in a GMP regulated industry, particularly in medical devices or pharmaceuticals with demonstrated experience leading teams for at least 3+ years is required.
Individual must possess strong leadership skills, a proven ability to coach and mentor individuals in technical skills and people development areas. The individual should enjoy working in a dynamic and results-driven team-based environment with flexibility essential.
Capability to network and influence at divisional and corporate level and with external agencies and partners. Capability to effectively lead division-wide, multi-site initiatives.
Demonstrated leadership, project management and Quality engineering experience in new product introduction in a regulated environment.
Self-starter with demonstrated efficient work methods, analytical & problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in project management tools with a keen analytical ability, crucial for problem-solving and driving process enhancements.
Requires an analytical, logical and strategic thought process, with experience in Lean / Six Sigma approaches.
126,500.00 to 279,500.00 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
