Required Master's degree from an approved program in school social work. Six (6) years of progressively more responsible experience which includes delivering social work services to children and families and social work leadership experience and/or administration and supervision. Advanced degree(s) beyond the minimum degree requirement in a relevant field may be considered for some experience. Postgraduate educational license with endorsement in School Social Work Knowledge of philosophy, goals, procedures, organization, and professional specialties of school social work programs. Knowledge of public education organization and administrative requirements in social work services. Familiarity with applicable regulations, legislations, and policies. Ability to manage and coordinate programs. Ability to effectively lead teams in multiple projects. Ability to supervise and evaluate personnel. Ability to establish and maintain a successful cooperative working relationship with appropriate school communities and school-based and central office staff. Skill in teaching adult learners. Ability to facilitate meetings and/or present information to groups. Proficiency in the use of technology and data compilation, analysis, and reporting.
