Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with various teams to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely deliveries and exceeding customer expectations.
Utilize your negotiation skills to obtain competitive freight quotes for both domestic and international shipments.
Take the lead in optimizing freight movement, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and implementing efficiency improvements.
Serve as the go-to expert for logistical procedures, developing and refining standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline operations.
Build and nurture strong relationships with our carrier partners, driving operational excellence and ensuring reliability.
Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies, sharing insights with the team to foster continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in logistics or business is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in logistics, inventory management, or related fields.
Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP or WMS software preferred.
Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) is advantageous.
