Job Title: Senior IT Administrator (Chief Information Officer - CIO) Position Overview:
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Senior IT Administrator to join our leadership team as the Chief Information Officer (CIO). The CIO will be responsible for leading the IT department, developing and implementing IT strategies, and ensuring the alignment of IT initiatives with business objectives. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of IT infrastructure and systems, and experience in driving digital transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities: Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures to support business objectives and drive digital transformation. Lead the IT department and manage a team of IT professionals, including system administrators, network engineers, and support staff. Provide strategic guidance and direction on the selection, deployment, and management of IT systems, infrastructure, and technologies. Collaborate with executive leadership and departmental stakeholders to understand business needs and requirements and translate them into IT solutions. Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud services. Ensure the security and integrity of IT systems and data through the implementation of cybersecurity measures, policies, and controls. Manage IT budgets, expenses, and resources, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget constraints. Stay current with IT trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement. Develop and maintain vendor relationships and partnerships to support IT initiatives and procurements. Serve as the primary point of contact for IT-related issues, escalations, and executive communications. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred. years of experience in IT leadership roles, with a strong focus on strategic planning, governance, and digital transformation. Strong technical skills and understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and technologies. Experience with cloud computing, virtualization, cybersecurity, and IT risk management. Proven track record of leading IT teams and delivering successful IT projects and initiatives. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically and analytically. Certification in IT governance, cybersecurity, or related areas is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in industries such as technology, finance, healthcare, or manufacturing. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, or PCI-DSS. Experience with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks. Familiarity with agile and DevOps methodologies. Strong business acumen and ability to align IT initiatives with business objectives.
