The Senior Instructional Designer will use multimedia technology and authoring tools to design and develop interactive and engaging learning
experiences for our internal learners.
Job Responsibilities Work with subject matter experts and identify target audience's training needs Develop measurable objectives and ensure content aligns with those objectives Write concise, creative and effective learning materials Applies knowledge of instructional design theory to design course content, working with subject matter experts, management, trainers/facilitators, e-Learning specialists. Applies knowledge of adult learning theory to identify appropriate training media and methodologies based on audience learning styles, course content, audience location, point within the learning process, Designing is created for traditional classroom, online classroom, self-paced online modules or a blend of approaches Use your experience of adult learning theory, social and mobile learning, and curriculum design to build and improve elearning, instructor-led, and blended approach education Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer in a variety of formats to support different learning styles (audio, video, simulations, role plays, scenario-based, micro-learnings, games etc.) Partner with teams to monitor completion, comprehension, and retention of the content deployed to identify content effectiveness, continuous improvement opportunities and lessons learned Critical Skills Bachelor's degree with a concentration on adult education or instructional design or similar. Master's degree a plus. 5+ years of experience designing and developing for a variety of delivery modalities (Working with sales organizations a plus) Proficient in Google Suite, Articulate 360. Adobe Creative Cloud Suite experience strongly preferred. Quality-focused orientation Strong organizational and project management skills Excellent writing, critical thinking, problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills. Reasonably expected salary range: $88,400.00 - $117,900.00
