Responsibilities:
Geotechnical Site Investigations:
Conduct and oversee geotechnical field investigations, including soil and rock sampling, drilling, and in-situ testing.
Analyze site conditions to assess geological and geotechnical factors affecting project feasibility and design.
Engineering Analysis and Design:
Perform geotechnical analyses and design for foundations, slope stability, retaining walls, and other geotechnical elements.
Utilize geotechnical engineering software and tools for accurate and efficient analysis.
Report Preparation:
Prepare comprehensive geotechnical reports summarizing site investigations, analyses, and design recommendations.
Effectively communicate findings and recommendations to clients, project teams, and regulatory agencies.
Project Management:
Manage and coordinate geotechnical aspects of projects from initiation through completion.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and effective project delivery.
Client Interaction:
Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and responsiveness.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients during project development.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field.
Experience:
Mid to senior-level experience in geotechnical engineering, including project management responsibilities.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in geotechnical analysis software and tools.
Strong foundation in soil mechanics, foundation engineering, and geotechnical design principles.
Professional License:
Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 1 year required.
Professional Geotechnical Engineer (GE) license is a plus.
Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely.
