Senior General Ledger Accountant

Century Group has partnered with a Motor Vehicle Manufacturing company who is seeking a Senior GL Accountant. This is an onsite position in Livermore. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $92,000 to $115,000 per year.

Requirements:

Needs to have process improvements and implementation under their belt

Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Responsibilities:

Assist with preparation accounting procedures and internal controls, and participate with rapid continuous improvement (RCI) activities

Preparation of monthly journal entries and account reconciliations

Prepare all Fixed Asset journal entries, walk-forward and other capital expenditure reporting, and schedules for use in the department including ownership and ongoing review of CIP account.
