As a Senior Financial Analyst at Wegmans, you will prepare financial reports, perform month end closing processes, analyze & interpret results. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to provide financial transparency & support company priorities.
What will I do? Compile various Financial Reports that accurately reflect the financial position of Wegmans Food MarketsCoordinate with cross functional team members to provide actionable and timely reportingAssist in compiling budgets for specific accountsPerform monthly closing tasks including reporting, journal entries and month end reconciliationsAssist individuals in analyzing their business to help drive improved outcomesResearch, analyze and identify the causes of variances, recommending ways to improve the result both financially and operationally for our employees and customersComplete special projects and compile various ad hoc reports for the department as requested Required Qualifications: 5 or more years of accounting, finance experience or related fieldExperience analyzing data & making recommendations based on your findingsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldMicrosoft Excel skills, including experience with Pivot TablesAt Wegmans, we've long believed we can achieve our goals only if we first fulfill the needs of our people.
