Your Role at Baxter:
Baxter International is looking for a Treasury Operations Senior Financial Analyst to assist with international treasury operations and treasury management system administration. This role includes implementing improvements to existing cash management processes and bank connectivity functions in our enterprise liquidity management system, Kyriba. This position also includes SOX control management and will work closely with colleagues across the Finance organization to optimize our treasury system and banking partnerships to drive efficiency. The Senior Financial Analyst provides oversight and guidance on all Kyriba treasury related configuration. The role assists with initiatives related to treasury operations, cash management, cash forecasting, interest rates, audit and internal controls.
What You'll be Doing:
Leads Baxter's global use of Kyriba including workflow, troubleshooting issues and ticket management of Kyriba Support cases. Participates in monthly service review meetings with Kyriba Customer Service team.
Lead collection of and improvement of bank data and understanding account purpose to promote insightful Treasury analysis and decision making to help with bank account rationalization
Provides liaison support to Kyriba for IT and global Treasury users, as needed.
Assists with plans to effectively operationalize treasury tools and processes including cash management, transaction management, banking relationships, and master data for Treasury Systems.
Maintains core data in treasury systems such as banks, bank accounts, mapping rules, reports, report templates, intercompany partnerships, and standard settlement instructions for intercompany and third-party transactions. Provide approvals for dual administration change requests.
Interacts with treasury team members and other stakeholders on reporting needs and requirements.
Manages Treasury SOX documentation and ensures compliance with controls. Facilitates auditor walkthroughs and audit reviews.
Provide direct oversight of domestic and global cash controls, including the coordination of internal/external audit testing of domestic cash management activities, maintenance of cash management and banking Standard Operating Procedures and quality control guidance to cash management team members regarding the cash positioning, funding and investment activities
Assists with user set-up/removal of users in treasury auxiliary trading portals (ICD, FXALL, Chatham), as well as maintaining these relationships and troubleshooting issues.
Assists with banking and payment structure integrations in collaboration with other Baxter system upgrades/implementations.
Serves as the subject matter expert in implementing modules in Kyriba and other systems for future implementations.
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Finance or IT related field required
3 plus years of experience in treasury and/or systems management/implementations
Proven ability to be a trusted advisor and expert in Kyriba solutioning and troubleshooting
Familiarity or experience with finance systems and treasury operations a major plus
Ability to communicate and collaborate with global teams
Demonstrated project management skills
Ability to handle competing priorities
We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $72,000 to $99,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
