Position Summary: LEAD Technical, a leading staffing company, is collaborating with one of our esteemed manufacturing clients to recruit a Senior Financial Analyst. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to financial analysis, reporting, and special projects within a dynamic and innovative manufacturing environment.
As the Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting and documenting moderate to sophisticated financial analysis, including monthly variance analysis, cost variance analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations. You will play a crucial role in the creation of the annual financial budget and prepare reports for the parent company in Japan, liaising with overseas contacts as necessary.
Essential Job Functions: Monthly variance analysis. Cost variance analysis. Lead creation of annual financial budget. Prepare reports for parent company in Japan and liaise with overseas contacts for any questions or requests. Balance sheet reconciliations/analysis. Prepare slides for presentations, lead meetings and report out as needed. Audit Support. Support annual physical inventories. Function as dedicated back up for other team members when needed. Other tasks as assigned. Experience and Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in related discipline and (3) plus years' experience in related field Associate 's degree in related discipline and three (5) plus years' experience in related field Non-Degreed with five (7) plus years' experience in a related field. Must be comfortable utilizing Microsoft products. Excel proficiency is a must. Have strong communication, administrative and organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple projects and programs. Strong problem solving and visualization skills. Previous experience in data analysis techniques preferred.
