As Sr. Financial Analyst one will be a key member of the Athens Supply Chain Finance Team. The Team has close interaction with all business partners and local departments as well as with peers at other manufacturing sites across the globe. The Analyst will assist in providing financial support for the strategy of the business, new investment decisions, prepare forecasts, support business partners to execute within given targets, and will be actively involved with finance optimization & standardization initiatives. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Engage business partners using fact-based data and advanced analytics to achieve mutually agreed business objectives. Coordinate budget preparation, apply business knowledge on assumptions, identify cost savings and influence decision making. Understand linkages to strategic plan. Accountability for assigned elements of the business planning processes, including preparation of templates and detailed calculations, consolidation of input, challenge results and prepare management reporting. Analysis, review, and consolidation of quarterly results . Proactive investigation and explanation of variances. Challenging business assumptions, implementation of corrective actions and Cost Improvement Projects. Compliance : financial closing procedures in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley guidelines. Ensure timely and accurate completion of financial reporting requirements and submissions in financial systems. Active involvement or leading ad-hoc projects . Drive the design and usage of digital solutions. Benchmark and implement standard methodologies and systems within the J&J network. Required: A minimum of a bachelor's degree Preferred: Preferably with a major in Accounting or Finance Advanced degrees or certifications such as MBA, CPA, CMA, etc. Required:
A minimum of 3 years professional Supply Chain Accounting/Finance experience. SAP experience. Preferred: Prior cost accounting experience. Excellent communication skills an ability to partner effectively with business leaders. Strong analytical and conceptual skills. Ability to challenge, improve and optimize current processes. Ability to handle several tasks, while sustaining a level high of accuracy. Ability to master a changing and complex business environment. Other This position will be based in Athens, GA. The base pay range for this position is $76,000 - $121,900 USD
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
