QUALIFICATIONS 2+ years of service technology experience for ophthalmic coating centers and instrument installation with the ability to install and program software in microprocessor-based systems Experience with vacuum technology, evaporation, and sputtering processes for visible light and UV Experience using test instruments such as helium leak detectors, residual gas analyzers, digital multimeters, and oscilloscopes Experience working with mechanical, electrical, and electronic machinery components Ability to use 3D drafting software such as AutoCAD or SketchUp Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time WHAT TO EXPECT As our Senior Field Service Technologist, your days are filled with exciting challenges and opportunities to help others! You travel to various locations to inspect, repair, and install specialized software and automated electromechanical technology. This is a highly dynamic role where you use testing instruments to check equipment functionality and make adjustments to optimize performance. As you service equipment and install and program software, you also help train customers on how to properly use the technology.
