We are seeking a full-time experienced environmental data manager to join our Data Solutions Group. As a Senior Environmental Database Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting environmental science and engineering projects, participating in research and development, and contributing to business development efforts. Responsibilities:
As a Senior Database Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
Managing environmental data utilizing EQuIS, SQL, Python, and other relevant tools and programming languages.
Mentoring junior database managers to foster professional growth.
Innovating new procedures and applications for data collection, management, analysis, and visualization.
Overseeing data quality activities performed by junior staff.
Collaborating closely with project teams, field data collection teams, and analytical chemistry laboratories.
Qualifications:
We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in environmental science, chemistry, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental consulting and data management.
Expertise with the EarthSoft EQuIS Environmental Data Management System, with a minimum of 3 years' experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server and .NET programming.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask and work independently while also enjoying collaborative teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
