The Senior Engineer, Civil/Structural is responsible for working under the supervision of Senior Lead Engineers to develop structural engineering solutions to the design of buildings and other load-bearing structures.
Explore your tasks and responsibilitiesCollaborates with other disciplines and contractors to support the development of design deliverables such as drawings and specifications Reviews shop drawings and submittals to understand how design and construction are inter-related Attends construction and design verification walks and submit report of observations Prepares structural engineering calculations and finite element modelling under the supervision of a Senior Engineer Works closely with design and technical Teams in leading the development of design deliverables such as Reports and Construction Documents, including drawings and specifications Analyses and designs the basic structural components of a building or other structure Coordinates structural models and drawings with the other design disciplines Mentors Interns and junior members of project teams Other duties as assigned The information contained in this job description is intended to describe the essential job functions required of those assigned to this job.
