As a Senior Demand Planner, you will manage the long-term and short-term demand planning process for major brands within Kellanova's portfolio. Serving as a liaison between cross-functional business partners, you will ensure that all demand plans are accurate and necessary inputs are gathered. You will need to demonstrate successful forethought in demand planning and an owner's mindset to drive big results. The role can be based out of Battle Creek, MI or Chicago, IL and will work in a flexible, hybrid model with weekly in-office days.

A Taste of What You'll Be Doing
Demand Planning Expert – Create, develop, and produce demand plans through reviewing historical sales trends as well as marketing, sales, and financial plans. We'll rely on you to carefully prepare data and evaluate results. Using your in-depth understanding of statistical models and variables, you'll follow and identify demand planning principles and maintain information in the system.
Collaborating and Guiding – Work hand in hand with the supply chain team, providing updates and analysis to promote continuous improvement. You'll work with sales, marketing, finance and purchasing to ensure accurate current / long-term demand plan. This will include presenting and making suggestions to other cross-functional teams regarding demand. In addition, you will provide direction to other demand planners.
Analyzing and Measuring – We will look to you to analyze internal demand stream information. Categorizing it according to demand patterns, you will input sales and marketing intelligence into demand planning systems. You'll prepare and present various analyses of demand to different business unit leaders. Bring your in-depth understanding of consumption and shipment trends to successfully lead the monthly consensus process for your categories.
We're Looking for Someone With
High School diploma/GED with significant relevant experience.
Detailed understanding of the objectives of the advanced demand and planning functions.
High proficiency in SAP or similar database application technology.
Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Access, or similar software.
Strong presentation and influencing skills to communicate with leadership regarding business.
Bonus points for prior experience with BW reporting APO / SNP, CRM, or other SAP applications.
