What You'll Do
Perform exploratory data analysis to identify areas of opportunity to make improvements to our overall user experience. Work closely with a product team to lead quantitative analysis, hypothesis testing, and experimentation efforts. Build automated dashboards to help stakeholders monitor the health of their product. Comfortable with predictive modelling techniques such as linear/logistic regressions, random forest/k-means clustering, decision trees, etc. Present your findings to both technical and non-technical audiences to help drive key business decisions. Work closely with several cross-functional teams to help lead company initiatives to help grow different parts of the business. Take a question or issue, use data to identify the root cause, and offer recommendations on proposed solutions. Skills & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a similar field. Master's Degree a plus but not required 3+ years working as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or Product Data Analyst. 3+ years working with SQL (experience with Azure Cloud Services is a plus)3+ years working with Python or R is preferred but not required. 3+ years working with a product/web analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, MixPanel, Heap, etc.)3+ years working with interactive visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, PowerBI, etc.) Strong expertise in taking a question from a stakeholder, then using various data points to unravel complex patterns and derive meaningful insights from data. A willingness to work closely with a team of analysts and several other team members and stakeholders to find key insights to help grow the business.
