About the Role:
We are on the lookout for an experienced content marketer with a knack for storytelling and a penchant for analysis. In this role, you'll spearhead and expand our research report program. This entails monitoring industry trends, commissioning surveys on pertinent topics, and collaborating across teams to transform data insights into engaging multimedia reports for our audience of customers, prospects, and media.
The ideal candidate is a stellar wordsmith who thrives on translating complex data into captivating content. You should possess a proven track record in crafting successful research reports or data-driven multimedia content, coupled with strong cross-functional collaboration, project management, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
Scale our research report and data storytelling programs, collaborating cross-functionally to develop and deliver multiple reports per year.
Stay abreast of industry news and trends, leveraging data to position Samsara as a thought leader.
Craft compelling content that resonates with enterprise-level audiences, collaborating closely with design.
Act as a strategic leader, fostering alignment and managing interdependencies across teams.
Distribute and amplify research reports in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders.
Define and track key performance indicators, measuring the impact of content initiatives.
Maintain high standards for content quality and integrity, aligning with brand guidelines.
Support other priority Content Marketing programs, including customer storytelling.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or related field.
5-7+ years of content marketing experience, with at least 1+ year creating research reports or data stories.
Exceptional communication and project management skills.
Ability to independently drive content creation from end to end.
Meticulous attention to detail with strong copywriting and editing skills.
Experience using analytics to evaluate content effectiveness.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with content management systems.
Knowledge of SEO best practices.
Familiarity with SEO tools such as Ahrefs or Clearscope.
