The Gig: As a Commercial Loan Officer in Portland Oregon, you'd be responsible for maintaining current client relationships and using a local network to originate and close quality commercial loans including commercial real estate, C&I, construction, etc. Our client is a multi-state regional bank that places great value on the mutual respect they treat all employees and clients with.
Responsibilities: · Maintain relationships with clients to increase reoccurring production and originate commercial loans.
· Grow portfolio by bringing in new business and cross-selling to clients.
· Maintain client database, client and customer calling/monitoring efforts, marketing, and referrals.
· Prepare and present credit analysis and recommendations for borrowing requests.
· Expedite production by communicating commercial lending policies and procedures.
· Monitor the credit risk of the portfolio.
· Create awareness of the bank through community activity.
· Stay abreast of all federal and bank policies and procedures.
Qualifications: · At least 5-8 years in relationship commercial lending and business development.
· Experience with middle market C&I lending preferred.
· High School Diploma or equivalent – required; Bachelor's Degree in Business administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or relevant discipline – preferred.
· An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
· Exceptional networking and relationship-building skills.
The Pay: Base salary ranges from about $130,000 to $175,000. Pay is subjective and depends on a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, portfolio, production history, credit acumen, job-related knowledge, years of experience, education, and geographic location.
