Your primary duties will include:Planning and executing color designs in collaboration with design, product marketing, development, and material consultants.Reviewing all samples to ensure marketable solutions and communicating changes effectively for final confirmation.Maintaining color calendars, timelines, and deadlines for the category/division to ensure timely completion of each product.Developing line art, coordinating materials, and finalizing product details to ensure successful color execution.Creating innovative, retailable color solutions for category or gender-specific lines by researching and delivering color, design, market, and lifestyle trends.Collaborating with the Category and Design Director to create seasonal color strategies and stories.Utilizing in-depth understanding of consumer needs and competitor products to improve product performance and appearance.Presenting category-specific color direction and merchandising strategies to internal audiences.Advancing the value of color within Nike by bringing a high level of functional expertise and mentoring junior designers.WHAT YOU WILL WORK ONCollaborating with cross-functional teams to execute color designs and achieve market success.Researching and delivering color, design, market, and lifestyle trends to influence product concepts and samples.Developing seasonal color strategies, materials, and graphics for category-specific lines.Presenting category-specific color direction and merchandising strategies to internal audiences.Mentoring junior designers and advancing the value of color within Nike.WHAT YOU WILL BRINGBachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years directly relevant work experience.Strong storytelling skills with attention to detail and creativity.Deep understanding of footwear design and consumer needs.Proficiency in materials, special effects, technology, and advanced development in color design.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Proven ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Continuous learning mindset with a commitment to skill development.
