Our team of experienced finance professionals, change agents, Excel masters and complex problem-solvers collaborate cross-functionally to assess financial strategies, systems and processes in an effort to drive the full-cycle financial health of all our clients.  ABOUT THIS ROLEOrchestra is seeking a Senior Client Finance Analyst who will own revenue accounting, financial forecasting, pricing, reporting & analysis and business risk assessment. This is an excellent opportunity for a solutions-oriented and analytically minded individual who will approach work with a sense of possibility, sees challenges as opportunities and has a relentless passion and curiosity for process improvement. Job responsibilities include assisting with financial analysis and reporting, month-end close processes and providing summaries of monthly billing and reconciliations.Role location:This role is based in our New York, N.Y. office on a hybrid basis. The Client Finance team is in office 2-3 days per week.ACCOUNTABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONSAs a Senior Client Finance Analyst on the Client Finance team, you will…Provide day-to-day financial support to practices and assist with business management at the project and practice levelMaintain various financial trackers and reports (month-end reporting, budget trackers, intercompany trackers, financial statements, A/R, staff utilization, burn reports, WIP management, over-service reporting, etc.)Prepare month-end revenue recognition schedules, journal entries and intercompany transfersSupport monthly and annual budgeting and re-forecasting processesProactively document, follow up on and in a timely fashion close out any revenue, budgeting, billing, invoicing, or payment issues that pertain to client(s)Operate as Subject Matter Expert on timekeeping system and its related policies and procedures, leading employee trainingsOwn the AR function with billing supervisor - pursue timely collection with internal follow-upsPartner with practices to ensure monthly financial schedule is followedOpen and manage jobs in coordination with account teamsMonitor jobs, estimates, POs and rate cards to ensure accuracy as well as project activityServe as a reliable and forward-thinking business analytics resource and provide oversight to assigned practicesLead and partake in financial meetings with internal teamsParticipate in any and all audit initiatives and ad hoc projects as neededEssential skills:3-5 years of experience in client finance or FP&AExperience in NetSuite or similar accounting/ERP packages (SAP, Anaplan, Oracle, Hyperion, etc.)Strong time management skills including the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and effectively manage workloadProficiency in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills (lookups, pivots, dashboards, advanced formulas, etc.) Demonstrated proficiency and understanding of GAAP, accruals and revenue accountingExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to effectively work and communicate with finance and non-finance stakeholdersAble to streamline tasks to ensure accuracy and take "ownership-mentality" in work/clients/practicesPreferred skills:Agency or client services experience (advertising, PR, communications, media or legal)Working knowledge of media finance and operationsNote: Interested in this role but it's not quite the right match?
