Senior C# DeveloperMillennium, a leading global investment management firm is seeking a Senior C# developer for a key Portfolio Manager team focused on Volatility trading to help design, implement and continuously evolve trading, financial computational & analytics system that includes internal reusable libraries, real time market data feed handling abstractions, integration with various team and central systems.The culture of the team is dynamic, where ownership, excellence and collaboration is highly valued.The successful candidate must possess strong knowledge & experience of designing and implementing performant, scalable and distributed financial trading computation and analytics systems in C#Responsibilities:Work jointly with portfolio managers, analysts, and quants capturing requirements and developing tactical and strategic solutions focusses on trading, financial computational and analytics ecosystemBalance speed of delivery with sound design and architecture practices to ensure high quality, performance, and maintainabilityFit into the active culture of Millennium and the team, judged by the ability to deliver timely solutions to portfolio managersDesign and develop REST API driven distributed & services architecture oriented systemsMinimum Qualification:BS / MS in Computer Science or relevant discipline.5-10 years' experience building real-time multi-threaded services and UI applications with C# and WPFSolid hands-on technical skills – C#, WPF/MVVM, Web API, SQL ServerExperience with DevExpress WPF suiteExperience with asynchronous development and real-time messaging (e.g., Solace)Backend server infrastructure – load balancing, failover, etc.Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, and Postgres databases.Has worked in an Agile and DevOps environment and familiar with methodologies including CI / CD pipeline for packaging and deploying artifacts.Strong communication, analytical & problem solving skillsAdditional Preferred Qualification:Market data APIs (e.g., Bloomberg), Excel VBA, PythonUI development experience with JavaScript / React a plus.Knowledge & experience with Options asset type in addition to equitiesThe estimated base salary range for this position is $150,000 to $200,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. Millennium pays a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package.
